In 1949 Paul Blasberg
saw the future in a car, a great burger,
and a place to "hang out".
It all  came together at an
Ashland Road drive-in restaurant.
 Porky’s Drive-In was born!
  Where with their sharp cars,
people came to meet and eat.
All the while remaining around
their status symbol  "the car".
The food was fast, the Burger the best!
and the atmosphere was friendly.
It was a local scene of
"What’s What and Who’s Who".

Burgers from fresh beef, foot long hot dogs and
fresh cut skin-on fries.
Milkshakes and Root Beer, both homemade,
were the bill of fare!

"2007"  Fifty-eight years later
and "Porky’s" is still family owned.
Paul’s son Dan and wife Alice
carry on the family tradition.

The menu is the same.
Well, there is now a larger selection,
but everything is still cooked to order.
We still serve those great Burgers,
fresh cut skin-on fries,
milkshakes made with our own homemade ice cream,
and don’t forget that
frosty cold mug of homemade Root Beer.

Inside seating is a cozy and friendly six booths and a counter.
We still have year-round car hop service
that lets you eat in your car....or get your order to go.
Call ahead 419.589.9933
and we’ll have it ready for you!!

Hope to see you soon !!
